Lil Kim emerged at the same time as Foxy Brown within the mid 90s and entertained me in many ways.
Lil Kim was my favourite of the female material girls.
She reminded me of a sexier, sassier Salt and had power to her voice similar to MC Lyte.
Even though I knew she was the mouthpiece for the late, great Notorious B.I.G., I enjoyed what she brought to hip hop as well.
