I was in
New York in 1991. My cousin had a 12" single of a group called Naughty By Nature in his crates. I brought back a mixtape made for me containing O.P.P.
home to Montreal.
I barely
got to know the names Treach, Kay Gee & Vin Rock in the little time it took
Montreal and the world to be familiar with Naughty by Nature. Within months, the song and the group blew up.
Their debut album was typical classic East coast hip hop.
19 Naughty III just happens to be the group's best album.
Feel Me Flow is my personal favorite of their tracks.
It was a pleasant treat to add Naughty by Nature to my list of concerts when they performed at Montreal's The Roxbury a few years ago.
I had never had the chance to see the group perform live before that night. Montreal has the chance to see Naughty By Nature tonight during Just For Laughs festival.
