Wanna Be Dancin’ is my favorite song from The Glass. It had the 1980s sythn-pop dance party vibe I love from electronic music. It also fits in the mold of MSTRKRFT’s Work on You, the song that got me open to modern electro in the first place.
I loved the song so much that I remember inquiring about more Glass music. I didn’t get an answer about that but instead a copy of the Plant Music Scion Sampler V. 29 CD.
I met Dominique Keegan at a CMJ party years ago and found out he was a member of The Glass. I told him how much I loved Wanna Be Dancin’ and he was genuinely pleased.
Just before my time in New York was done, he was kind enough to give me a Plant Music package, including an advance copy of The Glass’ At Swim Two Birds.I look forward to more Plant Music product.
