The Lady of Rage appearing on The Chronic was a revelation.
There had not been a female MC on the microphone in that fashion since MC Lyte.
I took notice of The Lady of Rage and waited patiently for her debut CD, Necessary Roughness, to drop.
As I think about it now, it had been a long time since I heard verses from her.
I was very happy to hear her on Eternia’s recent posse cut but I sure could use more Lady of Rage music now.
