Royce Da 5'9" is in the same vain of rappers I've been meaning to check more for.
Considering I haven't been the most optimistic about hip hop for a while, it's understandable that I wouldn't reach for him as much as I would have liked.
It appears that this is the time to give some time to a rapper that I respect and has made me take notice of over the last decade.
I don't think anyone can deny Boom. I was out of hip hop at the time but recognized that song as killer. The DJ Premier production and Royce rhyme ripping have just the right ingredients for a modern day classic hip hop track.
Use the video as your refresher course of Royce.
