Although we are nearly a decade apart in age, Perpall Jr. & I are on the same page when it comes to music.
At the time I was discovering and building my musical education with Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones and Prince, Perpall Jr. was using their music while experimenting with turntables.
For many years, Jello-Bar has been the best bar/lounge in Montreal for people of my demographic and Perpall Jr. had a lot to do with that. Not only would he spin the groove sounds of yester-year but he would mix tracks of the day with them making your night out all the more enjoyable.
I've been privileged to know Perpall Jr. personally and will finally have the privilege of having him as a guest DJ on The Suite Delight this Saturday, November 12 from 8-10pm EST.
